prayer

Good morning…

We cannot solve the world’s pile of problems, but we can discern the next loving thing that is ours to do. Yesterday, “mine to do” was to pass out some of the little pots of pansies I had created in the middle of the night when our internet was out and I was unable to blog.

With one pot of pansies I hand wrote a note. “I am praying for a loving pathway forward for all involved. May we each discern with God the next loving step that is ours to take. Then the next. Then the next. Until we find ourselves at home with God and each other.”

“Sue thank you for your supportive words and pansies,” she later replied.

Then another friendly text chimed in, “Looking up more about pansies, I find: ‘symbol of heart ease; love; FREE THINKING; to ponder; often used in funerals and on Remembrance Day. I lay these symbolic words in Christ’s hands as prayerful request.”

Finally, I am remember a quote another friend shared this week.
