Good morning…

“Soak with me a while,” I sense God whisper, as I snap this photo on a busy afternoon.

The dark and the light. The cream and the color. The wet and the dry. The simple and the sacred. When the Spirit leads, opposites melt together. Within us and around us, opposites melt together.

It doesn’t take long to take quality time with God. A silent soak is well worth the investment. God is good to one and all; everything he does is soaked through with grace (Psalm 145:9, MSG).

Amid life’s polar opposites, might God’s grace soak through us?

…Sue…

P.S. Following last week’s successful surgery, my mom is soaking in the comfort of being back home with my dad. The goodness and grace of God has brought her through, bag-free! Thank you for all of your many prayers. They are well worth the investment.
