Good morning…
Most of us start the day with preconceived plans. More likely than not, our plans will be interrupted. The quote above, sent by a friend last week, helps to shift our focus from, “Why, God, why?” to “Who?” and to “What?”
In the Plan B moments we meet today, might we stop and wonder and learn, “Who is God calling me to love?” “What is God prompting me to do?”
Even amidst life’s unexpected interruptions, we are invited to remain focussed on our ever-present God …in whom we live and move and have our being (Acts 17:28a, NIV). God guides us toward who we are to generously love. God prompts us to know what we are to actively do.
If you’re called upon to talk, speak as though God put the words in your mouth; if you’re called upon to serve others, serve as though you had the strength of God behind you. In these ways, God may be glorified in all you do… (1 Peter 4:11a, VOICE).
