cross

Good morning…

She also loved the same profound sentence from yesterday’s post, The Mathematics of Love. “Your love has a math that compounds according to the mystical science of the cross.” Opening wide the blessing, she read aloud to me a poem about God’s compounding love. Now it’s our turn to embody these words, to read slowly and to ponder deeply the mystical science of the cross.

poem

The heaviness of hatred can carry us to the cross. Hatred morphs to love on this tired ground. The endless grace of God slowly trickles down. Here, love stays and compassion compounds.

In what ways might you relate to true love being firmly fastened on to loss?

Invited into the mystical science of the cross, we see what love can bear and be and do. Love mysteriously multiplies, as earth breathes in heaven and heaven roots in earth. In the hiddenness of our heart, might hatred be transformed by love?

The single verse of the day from Biblegateway.com surprisingly meets us right here, where pure change happens, where loss becomes gain, where death opens into birth. For to me, to live is Christ [He is my source of joy, my reason to live] and to die is gain [for I will be with Him in eternity] (Philippians 1:21 , AMP). From now into eternity, love constantly compounds. This is the mystical science of the cross.

Experience this great gift. It’s all free! (Isaiah 55:1b, NLT).
