Good morning…
As the full moon creeps through our window to cast a cool shadow on our dining room floor, I am reminded that wholeness unfolds quietly. In the bright of this night, I am drawn back to a quote from Waking Up to This Day by Paula D’Arcy.
“…realign yourself with a fresh, unfolding wholeness, a spaciousness in which it’s apparent that there is an order and a beauty beyond our conventional sense of symmetry and form,” she writes. “Life is change, Paula, the life force whispered. That’s what life is. Life is an expression of the Divine in its many appearances and boundless disguises. Don’t cling to the individual forms of things; none of them last. Turn instead to the Source that brings these forms into momentary being.” (63)
This fresh, unfolding wholeness aligns with two images sent yesterday by a friend.

God heals the brokenhearted and bandages their wounds. God counts the stars by number, giving each one a name. Our Lord is great and so strong! God’s knowledge can’t be grasped! (Psalm 147:3-5, CEB).
“Nature does not hurry and yet everything is accomplished,” observes Lao Tzu.
In the presence of God’s healing power, our best response is this: “I rest as God works. I rest as God works.”
