Good morning…
“Woke to your ‘Be Fluent In Blooming’ blog,” she texted yesterday at 3:51 am. “I’m in the Netherlands seeing the tulips fluently blooming.”
“Wow! What a gift,” I replied. “Each of these photos is a masterpiece.”
“I just saw the awesomeness of God everywhere!” she gushed. “These were taken at or near Keukenhof Gardens outside of Amsterdam. They plant seven million bulbs each year. Then pull each one up by hand to feed to the cows and sheep. New bulbs are planted annually. The garden is only open for eight weeks out of the year.”
Plant.
Pull up.
Feed.
Plant new.
There is a time for everything,
and everything on earth has its special season.
There is a time to be born
and a time to die.
There is a time to plant
and a time to pull up plants.
– Ecclesiastes 3:1-2 (NCV)
Amid the colorful brevity of life, might we seek to see the awesomeness of God?
Everywhere.
Every day.
Every year.
Amen.
