Good morning…
I am grateful to be the Women’s Ministry Director at Northside Church. My spiritual gifts have grown deep roots and fresh fruits in the rich nurturing soil of our family of faith. My True Self comes alive in collaboration with the diverse, creative people in our loving community.
As we move toward the Lenten season, check out the life-giving opportunities available. Our six-week class and our annual Women’s Lenten Communion Service welcome women within driving distance, our Ash Wednesday service is open to everyone in the area, and our online Lenten devotional invites anyone to sign up, nearby or faraway. Wherever your feet are, come alive in community as God threads the winter with spring.

A Six-Week Series Using the Enneagram
Thursdays 11:30AM–1:00PM | March 14–April 18 | Room 308 Facilitators: Emily Wingfield and Sue Allen
|
|
Lent is a soulful season of self-reflection, and the Enneagram is a fascinating tool giving us words to describe our thoughts, our values, and our inner motivations.
March 14 | Overview of the Enneagram
March 21 | What Number Best Describes Who I Truly Am?
March 28 | The Influence of My Wings and My Arrows
March 4 | The Roots of My True Self
March 11 | The Layers of My False Self
March 18 | Surrendering All of Me to All Of God
|
|
“The Enneagram is more than an entertaining game for learning about oneself,” writes Christian mystic Betty Skinner. “It is about change and making a turnaround…a turnaround in how we deal with the compulsions we have developed without even being aware of them. It invites us to go beyond… to take steps into the domain of freedom. It points to specific directions for individual growth and for improving relationships with family, friends, and co-workers. Studied carefully and without judgement, it is a powerful tool for reconciliation and self discovery.” |

This Lenten season, why not commit 90 minutes each Thursday to explore the difference between your adapted self (that you have developed to make it through the world) and your authentic self (who God created you to be)? Join Emily and Sue in exploring the wisdom of the Enneagram.
Please register using the link below. There is a $20 fee for materials.

They were continually filled with praises to God, enjoying the favor of all the people. And the Lord kept adding to their number daily those who were coming to life (Acts 2:47, TPT).
