sun

Good morning…

I stepped out of our front door and noticed the rising sun casting indirect light on a brand new summer day.

Stepping down slowly, I moved in awe toward the warm Source of all light.

Then I looked up and saw a beautiful spider web, set all aglow. The indirect light reminded me of the Dr. Martin Luther King, Jr. quote we met last week.

“We are caught

in an inescapable network of mutuality,

tied in a single garment of destiny.

Whatever affects one directly,

affects all indirectly.”

As we are caught in this intricate web of constant connectivity, might we find our way to the middle of the matrix and rest secure in God’s eternal care?

Your life will be brighter than the noonday. Even darkness will be as bright as morning. Having hope will give you courage. You will be protected and will rest in safety (Job 11:17-18, NLT).
