Good morning…
We discussed our overwhelming overload. Suicide. Grief. Opinions. Division. Politics. Pain. Aging. Uncertainty.
As we took time to breathe, she shared her favorite quote.
“Out beyond the ideas
of wrongdoing and rightdoing
there is a field.
I’ll meet you there.”
– Rumi
Guided by the Spirit, about a year ago she collaged the wisdom during a free art class at the local library. Here’s her cool creation.

When we get solidly stuck in our own ideas of who is doing wrong and who is doing right, we stop meeting in the field beyond.
“I beseech you,” says Oliver Cromwell, “think it possible you may be mistaken.”
Place your trust in the Eternal; rely on Him completely; never depend upon your own ideas and inventions. Give Him the credit for everything you accomplish, and He will smooth out and straighten the road that lies ahead (Proverbs 3:5-6, VOICE).
As we place our trust in the Eternal, relying on Him completely, might the road that lies ahead of us expand into a beautiful garden?
With God, I’ll meet you there.
