Good morning…
When we urgently pray for clarity, like we did in yesterday’s post, we watch expectantly for whatever happens next.
We went to bed praying for our friend’s deep need for God’s guidance. Then we woke to the following text.
“As you get out of bed in the morning, be aware of My Presence with you. You may not be thinking clearly yet, but I am. Your early morning thoughts tend to be anxious ones until you get connected with Me. Invite Me into your thoughts…” Our friend wrote, “This is today’s reading from Sarah Young’s Jesus Calling.”
“God is so thick among us,” I responded. “The Jesus Calling message is an answer to our prayers, I do believe. God whispers, ‘Get connected to Me first thing in the morning. Invite Me into your thoughts. In My peaceful Presence, answers will naturally flow from Me to you.’ You will receive just what you need today, dear friend. Please share with us the details.”
In the morning, O Eternal One, listen for my voice; in the day’s first light, I will offer my prayer to You and watch expectantly for Your answer (Psalm 5:3, VOICE).
